The Malachites are delighted to welcome you to our new Canadian website!

We are an internationally-touring theatre company, who specialize in producing contemporary productions of Shakespeare's plays. Created in the Elizabethan spirit; and set in stunning, site-specific locations around the world; our work has drawn international acclaim from audiences and critics alike in the UK, China and here in Canada.

In January 2017, our inaugural Canadian production of Henry V won national acclaim as the first time a female actor had played the titular role on the Canadian stage.

We're delighted to be returning to the Albertan theatre scene in January 2018 with our latest production of Twelfth Night. A bitter-sweet love song to the Canadian winter, Twelfth Night promises to be the theatrical highlight of the season.
